EPA Apartment Maintenance Technician
Hire Priority Staffing is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Southwest Austin, TX 78737. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional who can respond to service requests, support unit turns, and help keep the community clean, functional, and resident-ready.
We are looking for someone with strong apartment maintenance experience who can troubleshoot issues efficiently, work well with residents and team members, and deliver quality service in a fast-paced property environment.
Job Details:
- Pay: $25-$27 / hr.
- Position Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Southwest Austin, TX 78737
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM/ On-call availability required
Responsibilities:
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues
- Support make ready work and help prepare vacant units for new resident move-in
- Perform preventative maintenance and general repair tasks as assigned
- Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community
- Work closely with property management and maintenance staff to prioritize daily work orders
- Provide excellent customer service to residents while completing maintenance tasks
- Assist with general property upkeep and additional maintenance support as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- EPA certification required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
- Make ready experience is a plus
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview process
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
