Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Management Representative to provide full-time, on-site technical support, quality assurance, and administrative management for the National Park Service (NPS) during the Jacob Riis Parking Lot Entrance and Fee Collection Facilities Rehabilitation project. You will serve as the eyes and ears of the Government ensuring the construction contractor complies with all contract documents, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Quality Assurance: Perform daily site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, quality, and compliance with plans, building codes, and safety standards.
• Submittal & RFI Tracking: Log, track, and review the contractor’s technical submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and baseline/progress schedules using web-based project management software.
• Meetings & Collaboration: Arrange, facilitate, and prepare detailed meeting minutes for weekly progress meetings and participate in initial Three-Phase Inspection meetings.
• Document Management: Maintain thorough project documentation, including taking standard Red-Green-Blue (sRGB) color photographs, verifying updated as-built drawings before monthly payments, performing labor interviews, Government Cost Estimates and draft scoping documents for contract modifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of construction supervision/inspection experience on similar facilities, including at least 3 years of Construction Management or QA/QC experience utilizing the Three-Phase Inspection Process.
• Technical Knowledge: Proven knowledge of construction practices, applicable building codes, and the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS).
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Project, Microsoft Project, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Certifications: OSHA 30-hour construction safety training course.
