Maintenance Technician

Overview

Our Property Management company is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician for our apartment community in Philadelphia, PA! ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Onsite maintenance and grounds-keeping functions
• Physical condition of the property including vacant units, common areas, and amenities
• Complete work orders, vacant unit turns, preventative maintenance, grounds, and special projects in a timely manner meeting all deadlines
• All other related tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager/Regional Manager

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous property maintenance experience, multifamily residential highly preferred
• Experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair required
• Previous experience with Apartment Turns/Make-Ready, Grounds required
• EPA Certified, CPO Certified, and Boiler License preferred
• Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations encompassing all aspects of property maintenance
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; effective communicator
• Ability to read/write in English and to understand directives both orally and in writing
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment is required
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Work hours are scheduled around the requirements of the property and are subject to change as needed. Must be able to work in a highly varied work schedule. Job requirements often include weekend work hours.
