Warehouse Associate with Class A CDL

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for safely transporting and delivering company products while also assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations when not on the road.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries
• Transport products and materials to customer locations in a timely and professional manner
• Load, secure, transport, and unload freight according to company and DOT safety requirements
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery paperwork, bills of lading, and other required documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
• Maintain communication regarding delivery schedules, delays, or customer concerns
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Pull stock and prepare products for outgoing deliveries and shipments
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy
• Organize inventory and place received products in designated warehouse locations
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle
• Assist customers professionally during deliveries and pickups
• Perform other related warehouse and delivery duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to meet applicable DOT and company driver requirements
• Previous CDL Class A driving or commercial delivery experience preferred
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of safe driving, loading, and cargo-securement practices
• Ability to read and follow delivery instructions, safety procedures, manuals, and shipping documents
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Ability to accurately complete driver logs, delivery paperwork, invoices, and routine documentation
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while on the road

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Regularly enter and exit commercial vehicles
• Sit and drive for extended periods as required
• Regularly stand and walk during loading, unloading, and warehouse duties
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and move more than 50 pounds
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach
• Safely handle freight, equipment, pallets, and other materials
• Have sufficient vision and awareness to safely operate a commercial vehicle and accurately complete delivery and inventory tasks
