Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a critical access hospital, requiring at least 1 year of CT/X-ray experience and WA licensure.
Details
- Critical access hospital with 23 staffed beds
- CT Tech unit performing both CT and X-ray procedures
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend night shifts required (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Patient ratio of 5:1
- No floating between units required
- No on-call requirements
- Epic charting system used
- Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system used
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- ARRT-CT certification preferred; if not held, must have CT experience
- ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
- Washington state license required if applicable
- Epic experience required
- Skilled in abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
- Experience in adult acute care and emergency department settings
- Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, and radiation safety
- Peripheral IV and venipuncture skills preferred
- Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, and chest for adult acute care and emergency patients
- Support trauma imaging including trauma head and musculoskeletal trauma cases
- Any scrub color accepted
- No parking fees at this facility
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
- Candidates must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront during submission
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate; 50-mile radius rule applies
- Former Providence staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
- First-time travelers considered with relevant experience
