NURSE PRACTITIONER

Location: Monterey, TN 38574
Rate: $50–$55/hr
Schedule: Part-time, up to 10 days/month, Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Travel: Some travel within the Upper Cumberland Region may be required

JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medical care to patients. The NP will develop evidence-based treatment plans, provide preventive care and counseling, evaluate diagnostic results, and collaborate with physicians regarding patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Review labs, physical exams, and diagnostic results
• Prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations
• Provide preventive care and patient counseling
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide BLS/CPR when needed
• Review patient charts for quality, standards of care, and compliance
• Collaborate with consulting physicians on patient care plans

REQUIREMENTS

• Tennessee RN and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) licensure or eligibility
• Current national certification or eligibility in the appropriate specialty
• Tennessee Certificate of Fitness required within 60 days of employment
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with physicians
