Forklift Operator

Looking for a seasonal forklift operator to join our team in the area of Morgan Hill. Must have at least 1 year experience working in a food manufacturing company.

Shift: Am position/Pm shift

Job Responsibilities

• Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down or stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move goods.
• Load and Unload: Move materials safely on and off trucks, trailers, and loading docks.
• Manage Inventory: Scan product barcodes with RF scanners and log movements in the warehouse system.
• Inspect Machines: Complete daily pre-shift safety checks on brakes, forks, and fluid levels.
• Maintain Safety: Follow workplace safety rules, wear safety gear, and keep aisles clear of hazards. [1, 2]

Key Requirements

• Certification: Valid OSHA-compliant forklift operator license or training certificate.
• Physical Strength: Ability to sit or stand for long hours and lift heavy items when needed.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus to prevent product damage or workplace accidents.
