Caregiver -- Personal Care Aide (Split Shift)

Schedule (18.5 hours per week)

• Monday through Friday: 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 2.5 hours
• Sunday: 1 hour

Position Summary
Provide personal care assistance to an adult male client who uses a wheelchair. The morning shift prepares the client for his day program; the evening shift assists him after he returns home and prepares him for bed.

Duties

• Assist with dressing and undressing
• Assist with safe transfers into and out of the wheelchair
• Provide incontinence care, including cleaning, changing, and skin checks
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene as needed
• Prepare the client for his daycare program in the morning and for bed in the evening
• Maintain a clean, safe personal care area
• Clock in and out through the electronic visit verification system at each shift
• Document care provided on the client task sheet

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance for both daily shifts
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and support the physical demands of the role
• Comfortable providing incontinence and personal hygiene care
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Prior personal care, CNA, or home care experience preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Compensation
Competitive hourly rate, paid biweekly.
