Sous Chef

We’re seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to elevate our culinary offerings and support our commitment to excellence. As a key leader in our kitchen, you'll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals, implementing innovative menus, and ensuring our standards of safety, sanitation, and food presentation are always met.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Must be flexible to come in earlier or stay later, or work an occasional weekend shift.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in food preparation and presentation
• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in safety and sanitation standards
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Food Handlers Card or Serv Safe Certification
• Knowledge of MSDS and regional recipes

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with catering and event food service
• Proficiency in computer systems used for ordering and communication
• Familiarity with culinary management software

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts/Management or Associate’s in Culinary Arts from an accredited institution
• Extensive on-the-job experience with high school diploma holders considered
• Formal culinary training and relevant certifications for food production management

Other Requirements:

• Must operate in a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling hot equipment and sharp tools
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt schedule as needed
• Must possess physical stamina to handle prolonged periods standing, climbing, or kneeling
