Main Order Selector

SHIFT: MONDAY - FRIDAY 2:30PM - 10:00PM Possible OT (Work until required task are completed) 

Job Purpose

As an Order Selector/picker, you will be responsible for filling customers and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, productivity and maintaining a clean area of responsibility.  The Order Filler is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.   Incumbent must ensure that the department’s functions are carried out in an efficient, timely manner and ensuring operation expectations are functioning smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to any duty as assigned)

• Locate product in the warehouse using RF system
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
• Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
• Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with pallet jacks.
• Use loading totes as required, properly load tag and scan totes.
• Ensure that the correct number and type of product is selected.
• Repack and weigh any orders that require such handlin
• Meet company standards for productivity and average pick per hour/day
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards
• Manage all duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, leadership skills and great organizational skills with and an eye for details.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of Order Selector experience required.
• Electric pallet jack experience is required. RF Scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule on short notice.

Working Conditions

This position works in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Education or Experience

High School diploma required. Associate degree preferred but not required.
