Customer Service Representative

One of our growing clients within the manufacturing industry, seeks a Customer Service Representative with a positive attitude and excellent problem-solving abilities. This Customer Service Representative will engage with customers on order requests and updates, create and update customer files, draft customer quotes, assist with inventory management, fulfill customer orders, submit scheduling forms, attend weekly sales meetings, resolve customer inquiries, research and identify areas for process improvement, and provide administrative assistance where needed. The ideal candidate should have great communication skills, strong multi-tasking capabilities, and the ability to thrive within a team environment.

Major Responsibilities

·      Fulfill customer inquiries

·      Order/Vendor Management

·      Build strong customer relationships

·      Process Improvement

·      Sales Support

·      Maintain customer records

·      Delivery Tracking

·      Follow-up with all customer correspondence via phone and email

·      Ability to transfer documentation into a Paperless Environment

The ideal Customer Service Representative will ideally have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration but no required.

Other requirements for the Customer Service Representative role include and are not limited to:

·      5+ years of customer service experience (call center a plus)

·      Manufacturing industry experience

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·      SAP experience is a MUST

·      High attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills
