This fully onsite role is expected to run approximately 6–9 months and will focus on providing high-volume legal support across commercial and industrial real estate transactions. The position will work closely with the in-house legal lead and senior leadership, serving as a key resource for drafting, reviewing, and organizing complex real estate documentation. This opportunity is well suited for a licensed attorney with strong transactional real estate experience who can step into a legally intensive environment and contribute immediately.
Responsibilities:
• Review, draft, and negotiate agreements tied to commercial and industrial real estate transactions.
• Prepare and revise lease documents, letters of intent, easements, and other property-related legal instruments.
• Examine title matters and support resolution of issues affecting ownership, use, or transfer of real property.
• Manage entity-related filings and maintain accurate legal records and supporting documentation.
• Organize, compile, and prepare legal materials needed for transactions, internal review, and stakeholder discussions.
• Assist with equity partnership discussions by helping draft and assemble related legal documentation.
• Partner closely with the internal legal function to address a broad range of real estate and transactional matters.
• Provide consistent onsite legal support during standard business hours, with flexibility for additional time when workload demands increase.• Licensed attorney with experience handling transactional legal work.
• Demonstrated background in commercial or industrial real estate matters.
• Strong working knowledge of leases, letters of intent, title review, easements, and related property issues.
• Ability to draft, review, and organize detailed legal documents with a high degree of accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a legally intensive, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Availability to work onsite in Houston, Texas, Monday through Friday for a 40-hour schedule, with potential overtime.
• Civil litigation, motion drafting, briefing, or discovery experience may be beneficial, but real estate transactional strength is most important.
