We are seeking an experienced RN for MSU/PCU Days to provide safe, high-quality nursing care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. The RN must have experience across PCU, Telemetry, and Adult Med-Surg and be comfortable flexing between departments based on facility needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide nursing care to adult patients in PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg settings.
\n
• Assess patient and family/significant-other education needs and provide appropriate education.
\n
• Maintain patient safety through preventative measures and proper use of equipment.
\n
• Follow restraint policies, including appropriate evaluation and documentation.
\n
• Demonstrate safe operation and troubleshooting of PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg equipment.
\n
• Follow infection-control, isolation, and standard precaution procedures.
\n
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and responses.
\n
• Accurately document patient charges.
\n
• Complete physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
\n
• Complete required 24-hour order checks when applicable to the assigned shift.
\n
• Provide complete and accurate shift-to-shift reports.
\n
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other departments.
\n
• Report critical laboratory values to physicians promptly according to facility policy.
\n
• Maintain and restock emergency carts, patient rooms, and general supplies.
\n
• Flex to other departments as needed.
\n
• Perform other duties as assigned.
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Washington RN License – Required
\n
• Recent experience in PCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry
\n
• Ability to work across multiple departments as needed
\n
• Strong patient assessment, documentation, communication, and safety skills
\n
• Experience with infection control, isolation precautions, and emergency procedures
\n

Experienced RN who can independently manage PCU/Telemetry and Med-Surg patients and is comfortable working in a smaller Critical Access Hospital where nurses may need to support multiple departments.
