\nKodiak Area Native Association (KANA) | Kodiak, AK: Credential 4 weeks
\nAny state license Accepted, will need to apply for AK license once accepted for the position
\nPay Rate: $90/HR plus all travel and Housing covered
\nThis is a Locum to Perm Position
\nPosition Highlights
\n- \n
- Provide full-spectrum family medicine care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. \n
- Manage a continuity panel in a team-based, Patient-Centered Medical Home model. \n
- Care for a diverse population including Tribal members, veterans, and community residents. \n
- Approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of visits are same-day appointments. \n
- Perform periodic home visits and occasional travel to remote villages. \n
Schedule
\n- \n
- 4 days per week preferred (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) \n
- Clinic hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM \n
- No call responsibilities \n
- Work 13 weeks on 1 month off and come back for another 13 weeks \n
- Schedule can be worked out with Client \n
Clinical Duties

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions \n
- Preventive care and wellness visits \n
- Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric care \n
- Prenatal and postnatal care \n
- Suturing and basic office procedures \n
- Care coordination and specialty referrals \n

- Strong physician support with consultative backup available \n

Requirements

- Board-Certified NP or PA \n
- Active Alaska License prior to start \n
- Current BLS Certification \n
- Family Medicine/Primary Care experience preferred \n
