About who needs care: A friend of mine is in dire need of day and night nurses ASAP. He is on a ventilator and if he cant get care at home he must go to a nursing home. Nursing homes are not safe for people on ventilators. His mother is in a nursing home. His father passed away a long time ago. About the care needs: Lifelong disabled on a ventilator. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
