Overview
MRI Technologist (ARRT-R) – MRI specialty in Newark, New York, US. Travel assignment starting 10/05/2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,929 to $3,016 per week. No guaranteed hours. Schedule: 4x10-hour days (10:30–20:30), Tuesday through Friday. Work setting: a 120-bed healthcare setting with an active Radiology/MRI service. No on-call, weekends, or holidays required.

Responsibilities
- Perform adult and pediatric MRI imaging across a range of body regions, including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and MSK, in ER/trauma and outpatient scenarios
- Acquire and optimize MRI sequences (e.g., T1/T2, diffusion, perfusion), perform post-processing, and manage PACS workflow
- Administer contrast and establish peripheral IV access as required; monitor patient response and safety during imaging
- Ensure radiation safety, isolation precautions, and PPE adherence; maintain patient positioning and comfort
- Chart patient data and study details in the electronic health record system (EPIC); collaborate with radiology team for study quality and timely reporting
- May be required to float to related MRI service lines based on department needs; maintain flexibility within the 4x10 schedule

Requirements
- Active NY State license in-hand
- ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and ARRT MRI certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience
- EPIC charting experience required or preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume MRI setting with pediatric and adult patients
