Alaska Hand Rehabilitation is growing and hiring an Occupational Therapist in Anchorage, Alaska. A relocation or retention bonus is available. Full-time is preferred, and the practice is 100% employee owned. Some prior hand therapy experience is required, and CHT certification is preferred.

About the Role

You will treat patients of all ages in a purpose-built specialty clinic designed exclusively for upper extremity rehabilitation, with a caseload focused on complex shoulder, arm, and hand conditions requiring high-level clinical reasoning. All treatment sessions are one-on-one and 45 minutes in length, with full-time OTs seeing approximately 39 to 40 patients per week. Daily protected documentation time is built into every therapist's schedule, along with dedicated time for patient research and collaboration. The clinic features bright treatment spaces, dedicated splinting areas, and modern equipment designed to support both exceptional patient care and therapist success.

Schedule

The clinic is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends, no late nights, and no major holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for a full-time position is $104,000 to $124,800 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include competitive pay, employee ownership through an ESOP with shares earned through tenure, a 401(k), comprehensive health insurance, generous paid time off, CEU reimbursement, and coaching and mentorship program support. Relocation support and a retention bonus are available for therapists joining the team.

Qualifications

Candidates must be eligible for Alaska state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Some prior experience is required, with three or more years of hand therapy experience preferred. CHT certification is preferred. Full-time availability of 40 hours per week is preferred. Part-time candidates with 24 hours across three weekdays, ideally Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, will also be considered. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
