Location: On-Site in Lebanon, KY
Shift: 2nd Shift (9:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of a manufacturing department to meet production and quality goals.
- Schedule work, assign tasks, and train new employees.
- Monitor productivity, quality metrics, and departmental performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis to reduce defects and improve processes.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members and Team Leaders.
- Resolve employee concerns and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using TPS and PDCA methodologies.
- Oversee new product trials and support department objectives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, including Japanese staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and environmental standards.
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of Team Leader or comparable manufacturing leadership experience.
- Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS), PDCA, and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience training and developing employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical & Work Environment
