We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department in our nursing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with experience in patient assessment, care plans, and managing dietary operations. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Supervise dietary staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high standards of food service and safety.
• Oversee tube feeding protocols and ensure compliance with dietary guidelines.
• Conduct regular evaluations of the dietary department’s performance, including budgeting and resource management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate health coaching into residents' care plans.
• Maintain knowledge of physiology and nutrition to provide expert advice on dietary practices.

Experience

• Proven experience in an healthcare setting, preferably in a supervisory role within a dietary department.

• Familiarity with tube feeding procedures and diagnostic evaluation methods.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing teams effectively.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes related to food service operations is essential.
