Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Miami, FL

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Director of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance, safety, and physical plant operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Director of Maintenance is responsible for ensuring that the facility, equipment, and grounds are maintained in a safe, functional, clean, and regulatory-compliant condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all maintenance and physical plant operations of the facility

• Maintain the building, grounds, equipment, utilities, and mechanical systems in safe and proper working condition

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility and promptly identify and correct maintenance and safety concerns

• Ensure compliance with applicable Life Safety Code, fire safety, emergency preparedness, OSHA, AHCA, CMS, and other federal, state, and local requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous maintenance experience required; healthcare, skilled nursing, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care experience strongly preferred

• Previous supervisory or maintenance leadership experience preferred

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and building safety practices

• Knowledge of healthcare Life Safety and regulatory compliance requirements preferred

Physical Requirements:

• The position may require frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, lifting, and carrying

Regulatory / Background Screening Requirement:

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings, including a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations
