Dementia Caregiver

Overview
SYNERGY HomeCare is an independently owned and operated national company renowned for high-quality home care, and we are we’re hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered senior care across weekdays and weekends, with a schedule of up to 30 hours per week. If you are dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting older adults, we’d love to meet you.

Duties

• Deliver person-centered care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement

• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders

• Safely transfer clients and provide assistance with personal care needs including dressing, and toileting.

• Offer flexible, multi-generational support to the broader family unit, including childcare assistance

Skills

• CNA or HHA certification is preferred but NOT required.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.

• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.

• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required (current CNA sandwich not required)

• Experience with children is preferred but not required.
