Description:The Dual Senior CRPS / Case Manager plays a vital leadership and clinical support role. Working under the direction of the Program Director, this position is responsible for managing a workload that balances staff supervision, facility operations, and direct client case management. The candidate leverages lived recovery experience and professional credentials to oversee Care Coordinators and peer staff, manage client care plans from intake to discharge, and maintain the safety and administrative integrity of the facility.
- Staff Supervision: Conduct weekly, one-hour, one-on-one supervision sessions with each CRPS team member.
- Team Collaboration: Facilitate a weekly, one-hour group supervision session to encourage team collaboration and the sharing of best practices.
- Staff Development: Support, guide, and foster team building within the department to ensure peers are building skills and providing ethical problem-solving.
- Management: Manage Care Coordinators, including providing routine progress updates to the House Director and completing formal performance evaluations.
- Training Track: Monitor and log all training activities completed by CRPS staff to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
- Professional Growth: Assist CRPS team members in identifying and enrolling in monthly professional development opportunities.
- Departmental Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the CRPS team and other departments; communicate updates and advocate for the team’s needs.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Active Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) designation, or in the application process.
- Lived Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recovery from a substance use disorder or co-occurring disorder.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Care Coordinator or in a community-based recovery setting.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising peer staff.
- Background & Screening:
- Successful completion of Level II background screening.
- Successful completion of initial and random drug screenings.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with electronic record systems and phone systems.
- Core Competencies: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities; commitment to client confidentiality and ethical boundaries.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays, to ensure program security and oversight.
Salary
- Classification: Salary Exempt
- Pay Rate: Minimum starts at $24 per hour. Final hourly rate is negotiable above this minimum based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
- Environment: Split between office data entry and field -based case management, and community outreach.
