Overview:
The Lead Dispensary Associate will support the Retail Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations at The Happy Camper, offering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and assisting with events. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, team management, and inventory control, as well as an understanding of event logistics. This is a full time position that is required to work weekends.
The Lead Dispensary Associate will support the Retail Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations at The Happy Camper, offering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and assisting with events. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, team management, and inventory control, as well as an understanding of event logistics. This is a full time position that is required to work weekends.
Responsibilities:
Operations & Staff Support:
- Assist Happy Camper with day-to-day operations, ensuring store policies and procedures are followed.
- Act as a point of contact for team members, providing guidance on customer interactions, store procedures, and best practices.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns, aiming to create a welcoming, positive environment for all visitors.
Training & Team Development:
- Help conduct new hire training sessions and support ongoing staff development.
- Aid in managing employee performance by providing feedback, motivation, and performance assessments.
- Collaborate with management to foster a strong team culture focused on sales growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Inventory & Stock Control:
- Conduct regular audits, ensuring accurate records of product levels.
- Monitor and replenish stock. Put in order when supplies are running low, ensuring timely reordering of necessary items.
Audits & Financial Tasks:
- Perform cash, tip, and timesheet audits as required, ensuring accurate reporting, and accountability.
- Support the business in cash management, maintaining secure, and compliant handling of funds.
Facility Maintenance:
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment within the dispensary and back-of-house areas.
- Manage waste and recycling processes, ensuring proper disposal of trash and maintaining cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Experience in retail, customer service, or cannabis-related industry preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team building.
- Attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and ability to conduct audits effectively.
- Willingness to support a flexible, evolving role to meet the needs of the growing business.
- This is a full time position that is required to work weekends.
