Director of Medical Staff Services

Large Acute Care Hospital – California

A large, nationally recognized acute care hospital in California is confidentially seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services to lead its Medical Staff Office and oversee all credentialing and re-credentialing operations.

Requirements:

• CPCS or CPMSM certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years medical staff experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, Title 22, CMS, and HIPAA standards
• Echo software experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all Medical Staff Office functions, credentialing, and Peer Review activities
• Maintain Medical Staff Bylaws, files, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Serve as liaison between Medical Staff leadership, physicians, and hospital administration
