Technician Trainer – Electronics Manufacturing

VIP Staffing is hiring a Technician Trainer for a manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with hands-on electronics manufacturing experience who enjoys training and developing employees.

The Technician Trainer will provide technical training to technicians and production employees while helping ensure manufacturing processes meet company standards for quality, safety, productivity, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Train production employees and technicians on manufacturing processes and procedures.
Provide hands-on instruction for assembly, testing, packaging, and manufacturing workflows.
Develop and maintain training materials, work instructions, SOPs, and certification records.
Train employees on proper equipment operation and manufacturing procedures.
Provide instruction on ESD requirements, safety standards, and quality procedures.
Evaluate employee skill levels and provide coaching to improve technical performance.
Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and HR teams to support employee development.
Support new-hire onboarding and technical training.
Reinforce proper production practices and company/customer requirements.
Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain training records and documentation.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, testing, packaging, and troubleshooting.
Previous experience training, mentoring, or coaching production employees is highly preferred.
Understanding of ESD, manufacturing quality requirements, and safety procedures.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to create or maintain training documentation and work instructions.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively with production employees, technicians, engineering, and management.
Must be available to work the full 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Monday–Friday schedule.

Education

An associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
