Yard Hand

Yard Hand is responsible for keeping the yard, equipment, and facilities organized, clean, and ready for daily operations. This position supports crane operations by maintaining order, ensuring safety, and assisting with loading, unloading, and equipment handling. This position pays $20/hourly and has the opportunity for overtime. 

Key Responsibilities

• Yard & Equipment Maintenance: Keep the yard, cranes, and related equipment clean and organized; perform routine cleaning and washing of cranes and tools 
• Inventory Control: Assist with yard organization and inventory tracking; ensure materials and tools are stored in designated areas
• Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trailers, tools, and miscellaneous equipment; assist with material handling for crane operations 
• Support for Operations: Help technicians, operators, and other crew members with daily tasks; assist in equipment check-in/check-out and inspections 
• General Labor: Perform other yard duties as needed, including debris removal, snow removal (in outdoor environments), and general cleanup 
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, wear PPE, and report unsafe conditions promptly 
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other employees to ensure smooth operations and meet schedules 

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more; frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods 
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme cold in some environments 
• Operate forklifts, loaders, and other yard equipment when trained and certified 
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Previous yard, equipment, or oilfield experience is a plus but not required 
• Valid driver’s license
