Schedule: Monday through Friday

Work Location: In-office daily with local job site visits as needed

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Plan and Spec Estimator to support commercial construction opportunities through detailed takeoffs, estimating, and bid preparation.

This role is ideal for someone who understands commercial HVAC systems and can confidently review mechanical plans and specifications, determine project requirements, complete accurate takeoffs, and build competitive estimates.

What You'll Do

• Review commercial construction drawings, mechanical plans, and specifications

• Complete HVAC material and equipment takeoffs

• Identify project scope, requirements, and potential bid considerations

• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracted work

• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing

• Review addenda and incorporate project changes into estimates

• Prepare accurate and competitive bid packages

• Maintain organized estimating documentation

• Coordinate with sales, project management, and operations teams

• Assist with project turnover after successful bids

What You Bring

• Commercial HVAC estimating, construction, or related industry experience

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and specifications

• Experience completing takeoffs and preparing estimates

• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and systems

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn estimating software

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record

• Ability to work in-office daily

Experience in commercial HVAC and the ability to accurately understand project scope are our primary priorities. Specific certifications are not required for the right experienced candidate.
