Maintenance Mechanic

* Candidates must be willing to work any assigned shift and participate in weekend overtime based on business needs. 

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the duties which the employee may be expected to perform. To perform this job successfully, an individual is expected to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The employee must be work in a safe and professional manner including following lockout and tagout procedures.

1. Work in a safe and professional manner including following lockout and tagout procedures. 

2. Perform preventive maintenance procedures on all types of production equipment.

3. Perform all types of troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment without direct supervision. 

4. Make equipment modifications as needed to improve safety and productivity.

5. Train mechanics as needed.

6. Assist set-up personnel and machine operators as needed.

7. Mechanic will follow the preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to the schedule provided within the IQMS system. All PM documentation will be made in IQMS.

8. Responsible for keeping the maintenance department clean and orderly.

9. Communicate clearly with other employees daily to share information to ensure that the team meets production goals.  

Requirements:

1.Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

2.Reasonable physical abilities are required to perform the duties of the job 

3.The skills to follow verbal and written instructions are required 

4.Certification of forklift or other equipment

5.Must understand basic hydraulic and pneumatic

6.Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams 

7.Good layout and fabrication skills are required

8.Must know basic machine shop procedures 

9.Must have basic training skills 

10.PLC and computer Knowledge is helpful.
