Director Of Sales

We're on the lookout for a director of sales committed to helping our busy hotel meet its sales goals. You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. $90,000 - $110,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations
• Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
• Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers
• Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals
• Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses

Qualifications:

• Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing
• Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required
• Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
