Twin Oaks Rehab and Nursing, a renowned organization committed to excellence, is seeking a compassionate and energetic Recreation Assistant to join our dedicated team in Danvers, Massachusetts. As an essential member of our Activities Department, you will organize and participate in person-specific activity programming, fostering a sense of community and providing comfort and stimulation to our resident population. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the resident activity director as needed

• Utilizing the environment to provide comfort and stimulation to the resident population

• Fostering a sense of community within the center environment

• Leading and participating in group activities such as pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, etc.

• Assisting with decorating the facility and preparing for special events and seasonal parties

• Storing activity equipment and supplies and cleaning area after conclusion of the activity

Requirements:

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Good listener, build rapport easily, and work collaboratively

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
