Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Inventory Specialist to join our healthcare supply chain team in Robbinsdale, MN. This role is responsible for counting, picking, and distributing low unit of measure (LUM) medical/surgical supplies to nursing clean supply and PAR rooms across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PAR Inventory & Replenishment: Verify, requisition, and restock PAR inventory levels in nursing supply areas to ensure daily clinical operations run seamlessly.
  • Supply Distribution: Fulfill supply orders received via phone, verbal requests, handheld terminals, or the EPIC system; deliver med/surg supplies based on priority.
  • Quality & Expiration Control: Inspect stock for package integrity, rotate items to prevent outdating, and promptly remove damaged or expired supplies.
  • Stock Audits & Cycle Counts: Receive and check in stock/non-stock shipments, report supply discrepancies, and conduct routine cycle counts.
  • Equipment & Supply Room Maintenance: Keep assigned PAR supply areas clean, organized, and properly labeled by bin location; prepare mobile medical equipment for clinical use.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Healthcare Experience: Minimum 1 year of inventory control or materials management experience in a healthcare or hospital setting required.
  • Medical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic medical terminology and med/surg supplies required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory tracking systems (EPIC or handheld scanner experience preferred).
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • References: Must be able to provide 2 professional supervisory references upon submission.
