Lotus Village Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Sparta, NC!

What You’ll DoAs a Housekeeper, you will help maintain cleanliness throughout the facility while following established safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sweep, dust mop, and mop floors throughout assigned areas.
Vacuum carpets and other floor surfaces as needed.
Empty and remove trash from designated areas.
Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces.
Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines.
Keep housekeeping carts clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Properly clean, store, and maintain housekeeping equipment, tools, and supplies.
Maintain accurate logs of completed cleaning assignments.
Monitor housekeeping supplies and notify your supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to your supervisor promptly.
Report any concerns regarding resident conditions or safety to the appropriate supervisor.
Work cooperatively with other departments to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is a plus.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
Dependable and responsible work ethic.
Positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude.
Ability and willingness to work weekends as needed.
Compassionate and respectful approach when working around residents.
