Job Summary

The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting patient-centered care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and personnel management

• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care

• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentoring, and support staff development

• Develop and manage budgets for the nursing department

• Foster a culture of safety and quality improvement, promoting a positive and respectful work environment

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, and families to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role

• Current State of Tennessee RN license

• Demonstrated expertise in nursing administration, management, and leadership
