Maintenance Technician 2 (Multi-Family Housing)

Arbors Management Inc. | Delmont, PA

Schedule: Full-Time, Mon–Fri (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) + Rotating On-Call Coverage


About the Role


Arbors Management is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to handle hands-on repairs, troubleshooting, and  preventative maintenance across 2 residential communities located in Delmont, PA.


Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician
  • General Maintenance: Perform intermediate repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and basic HVAC/appliance service.
  • Unit Turnover: Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (painting, drywall repair, fixture updates, and mechanical checks).
  • Tech-Enabled Workflows: Utilize a smartphone and laptop daily to manage, update, and close out maintenance work orders digitally.
  • On-Call Emergency Response: Participate in a rotating schedule with team members to provide coverage for off-hours, weekend, and holiday emergencies.
  • Grounds & Safety: Keep properties clean, safe, and curb-appealing; perform basic seasonal upkeep (landscaping in the summer, snow clearing/salting in the winter).
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 2–4 years of proven intermediate experience in residential or commercial building maintenance trades.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and laptops to navigate property management software for daily tasks.
  • Licensing & Screening: Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required. Must pass standard background checks and drug screenings.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work comfortably in varying physical positions throughout the day.
