General Laborer - Eloy Yard

Location: Eloy, Arizona
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

The General Laborer supports daily yard and operational activities by performing a variety of general labor and material-handling tasks. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities may include loading and unloading materials, organizing and staging supplies, maintaining work areas, assisting team members, and supporting other day-to-day yard and operational needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general labor and yard duties as assigned.
• Load, unload, move, organize, and stage materials and supplies.
• Assist with material handling and general production or operational support activities.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas by removing debris and properly disposing of waste.
• Assist team members with daily yard and operational needs.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices at all times.
• Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Safely use basic tools and equipment when properly trained and authorized.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Promptly report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or workplace hazards to a supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor yard environment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and productively with appropriate supervision.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, material handling, or yard operations is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include:

• Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Safely lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials as required to perform assigned job duties.
• Working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Wearing required PPE and complying with established safety procedures.
