Paul House & Health Care Center – Chicago, IL

Paul House & Health Care Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team. Our RNs play an essential role in providing quality, resident-centered care while providing clinical leadership and collaborating with CNAs, LPNs, physicians, nursing leadership, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across AM and PM shifts.

• Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

• Identify and promptly communicate significant changes in resident condition

• Notify physicians and appropriate members of the care team regarding resident needs and changes

• Develop, review, and update resident care plans

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs

• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the interdisciplinary team

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and other nursing leadership

• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care

• Follow facility policies, procedures, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements

• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to supervise, delegate, and provide clinical leadership

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

• Must meet applicable health and background requirements

Available 12-hour shifts include:

• AM: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• PM: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Weekend availability may be required
