Job Description
The Recruiting Coordinator supports Tangent’s talent acquisition function by keeping the day-to-day recruiting process organized, accurate, and moving. This role tracks incoming requisitions, helps keep job postings current and on brand, prepares recruiting reports, and serves as a point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process. The Recruiting Coordinator reports to the Recruiting Manager and works closely with recruiters and hiring managers across the business.
Requirements:Roles and Responsibilities
· Own tracking of incoming requisitions from intake through approval and posting, flagging delays so open roles keep moving.
· Review and refine job postings for clarity, accuracy, and consistency with Tangent’s employer brand and compliance requirements.
· Compile and distribute weekly recruiting reports and metrics as directed, giving leaders visibility into pipeline health and time-to-fill.
· Serve as a responsive point of contact for candidates, communicating scheduling updates and next steps to keep the candidate experience positive.
· Coordinate interview scheduling across recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to keep the hiring process on track.
· Maintain accurate requisition and candidate records in the applicant tracking system so hiring data stays reliable for reporting and decision-making.
· Support the offer and onboarding handoff by helping prepare offer paperwork and background check requests once a candidate is selected.
· Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting workflows and communication, contributing to a faster and more consistent hiring process.
Required skills/abilities· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, candidate-focused tone.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple open requisitions and priorities at once.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheets used for reporting.
· Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and general recruiting workflows.
· Ability to handle sensitive candidate and employee information with discretion.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Education and experience· High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
· 1+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or administrative support preferred.
