Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents to various locations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Courier will operate various types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks, while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.

Requirements:

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Courier or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Expected hours: 10-20 per week with room to flex hours to cover additional shifts

Shift:

• Evening shift. Start time 5:30pm
• Afternoon/evening shift combined. Start time 1:00pm

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
