This is a FULLY ON-SITE position and is NOT eligible for remote or hybrid work.

MCHC Health Centers is looking for an EHR Support Analyst to join our Clinical Applications team! 


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving workflows, supporting users, and helping healthcare teams get the most out of Epic.


The EHR Support Analyst (ESA) supports the configuration, testing, maintenance, training, and optimization of MCHC Health Center’s OCHIN/Epic environment. The ESA works closely with clinical and operational teams to troubleshoot issues, improve workflows, coordinate system changes, and provide Epic training and support.
This position may be filled at the Analyst I, II, or III level based on experience and expertise.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide daily Epic troubleshooting, coaching, and support to clinical and operational staff.
  • Serve as a liaison between MCHC users and OCHIN for Epic applications, workflows, and system issues.
  • Submit, track, test, and validate Epic changes, enhancements, and support requests.
  • Maintain MCHC-specific Epic configuration, including SmartPhrases, preference lists, In Basket pools, and other system setup.
  • Test Epic releases and updates and identify potential workflow impacts.
  • Provide Epic training and onboarding for new and existing employees and providers.
  • Support go-lives, new workflows, provider onboarding, and optimization projects.
  • Maintain workflow, training, and system documentation.

Analyst Levels


Analyst I: Entry/developing level providing Epic support, troubleshooting, training, and workflow assistance with guidance from experienced team members.

Analyst II: Works independently on moderately complex Epic build, testing, training, and workflow projects; coordinates releases and mentors Analyst I staff.

Analyst III: Senior-level analyst who leads complex Epic initiatives, serves as a subject matter expert, guides workflow optimization and standardization, and men 

Requirements:
  • Analyst I: Associate's degree, or equivalent experience; 0–2 years of relevant EHR, clinical, or IT experience.
  • Analyst II: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2–4 years of EHR or clinical applications experience.
  • Analyst III: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years of EHR, including build and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two-year college degree and four years of experience in a commensurate position in a professional environment, or equivalent experience and/or education.
  • Outpatient clinical experience (e.g., Medical Assistant or LVN).
  • Experience with EHR software, specifically Epic, preferred.
  • Training experience in a clinical environment.
  • Technical proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams) and webinar applications.
