Maintenance Technician

Description:

 

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems 
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic issues 
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime 
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify safety hazards or needed repairs 
• Repair or replace defective parts, motors, belts, bearings, switches, and other components 
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records 
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA and company safety standards 
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment or machinery 
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and work areas 
• Work with production and warehouse teams to minimize operational disruptions 
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and notify management when parts need to be ordered 
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, or carpentry work as needed 
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation 
• Support continuous improvement and facility upkeep initiatives

Requirements:

 

• Previous maintenance technician experience preferred 
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems 
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures 
• Flexible schedule, including overtime or weekends if needed 
• High school diploma or GED preferred
