As an Assistant Maintenance Director, you'll play an important role in both the daily operations of our facility and the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities may include:
Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, community outings, and other scheduled activities
Build positive relationships with residents while helping them stay connected to the Pagosa Springs community
Coordinate transportation schedules with facility staff and ensure residents arrive safely and on time
Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety
Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain mileage logs, trip sheets, and required documentation
Ensure all passengers are properly seated and secured before operating facility vehicles
Assist the Maintenance Director with general facility maintenance and repairs
Help maintain the appearance and safety of the facility and surrounding grounds
Identify and report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns promptly
Assist with a variety of hands-on projects and day-to-day facility needs
Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and facility policies
Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and team members

Who We're Looking For:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no DUI convictions within the past 10 years
Must be at least 25 years of age for insurance purposes
High school diploma or GED required
CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
Previous maintenance, transportation, or hands-on experience is a plus, but we welcome individuals who are eager to learn
Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
Strong communication and customer service skills
Dependable, motivated, and safety-conscious
Comfortable interacting with seniors and providing excellent service
Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and uphold residents' rights
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to transportation and facility maintenance
