About this job
Job Description
Front of House Manager
Fine Dining restaurant brings Columbus unforgettable nights across four distinct concepts built on great food, genuine hospitality, and live energy. As Front of House Manager you own every guest interaction from the first greeting to the last pour, turning first-time visitors into regulars and setting the standard that defines our rooms.
Performance Objectives
- Deliver consistent 4.8+ guest satisfaction by coaching servers and bartenders on personalized service, timing, and product knowledge so every table leaves wanting to return.
- Raise average check 812% and table turns during peak periods through floor presence, menu coaching, and real-time upselling without sacrificing pace.
- Keep 100% compliance on health, safety, and responsible alcohol service while running a clean, organized dining room that guests notice.
- Hire, train, and retain a high-performing FOH team of 1525, cutting turnover 20% by creating a culture of ownership and clear growth paths.
- Resolve guest issues on the spot and convert complaints into five-star reviews and repeat visits.
- Own reservations, waitlists, and seating flow so no guest waits longer than promised and no table sits empty during rushes.
Environment & Resources
You report to the General Manager and work across our Columbus concepts. You lead servers, bartenders, and hosts with full access to our POS, scheduling tools, and training resources. Nights, weekends, and high-energy shifts are the job.
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years managing FOH in high-volume restaurants or similar hospitality venues.
- Proven results improving guest scores, check averages, and team retention.
- Strong wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge plus the ability to train others.
- Calm under pressure, excellent communication, and a track record of turning problems into loyalty.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays while modeling the hospitality we expect.
Why This Role
- Lead the guest experience across four unique, locally loved concepts instead of one cookie-cutter room.
- Real ownership and visible impact in a growing hospitality group that promotes from within.
- Columbus energy, creative food and drink, and a team that actually cares about the craft.
