General Laborer and Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious General Laborer and Forklift Operator to support warehouse, production, and shipping operations. This role includes operating forklifts, moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory, and performing general labor duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and organize products and materials.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Assist with production, assembly, packaging, and other general labor tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material-movement records.
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment problems.
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Assist coworkers and supervisors with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, general labor, or forklift experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification preferred or required, depending on company policy.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic reading, writing, counting, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when required.

Work Environment

This position may involve working around moving equipment, loud machinery, dust, varying temperatures, and indoor or outdoor warehouse conditions. Required safety equipment may include steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and a high-visibility vest.
