Press Break Operator

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to perform custom fabrication of sheet metal, steel, and mixed metals. Working primarily on day shifts, this role supports production goals by accurately setting up, calibrating, and monitoring machines to ensure quality and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the operator plays a critical role in the custom fabrication process within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal, steel, and mixed metals
• Set up and calibrate machines according to job specifications
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality and efficiency
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Follow safety protocols during all operations
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet production targets
