Production Associate – Reclaim Grinder Operator

Location: 170 South Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Interview: No interview – Manager will review resumes and select candidates for an offer

Job Summary

The Production Associate – Reclaim Grinder Operator is responsible for safely operating reclaim grinding equipment and supporting end-of-line production operations. The ideal candidate should be safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all plant rules, policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Maintain reliable attendance in accordance with the company attendance policy.
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the plant.
• Know the location and proper use of jam-up and emergency stop buttons.
• Properly use the phone paging system when required.
• Operate board grinders and safely prepare and feed scrap materials.
• Operate compactor equipment and perform related tasks.
• Use cleaning equipment and tools as needed while following all safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to work 12+ hour shifts when required.
• Ability to work in hot and cold manufacturing environments.
• Ability to continuously stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE, including:
• • Steel-toed safety shoes
  • Safety glasses, goggles, and/or face protection
  • Hearing protection
  • Long-sleeved shirt with shirt tail tucked in, as required
