Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Seattle, WA
Location: Seattle, WA & Surrounding Areas
Contract: 13–26 Weeks
Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Setting: Primary Care, Family Medicine, Cardiology & Other Specialties
Contract Type: Contract with potential extension or permanent opportunity
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a clinical team in Seattle and surrounding areas. The Medical Assistant will support physicians and nurses with both clinical and administrative duties while providing excellent patient care.
Back Office and Front Office experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document accurate vital signs
- Administer injections under appropriate supervision
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Process referrals and prior authorizations
- Verify insurance information
- Handle patient check-in and check-out
- Educate patients on treatments and health maintenance
- Follow infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C)
- MA-R may be accepted at select clinics
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of patient care and medical terminology
- EHR/EMR experience
- Strong vital signs and patient-care skills
- Understanding of infection control procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organization and time management

- Clinic assignments may vary by specialty
- Possible weekend shifts based on Urgent Care clinic needs
- Opportunity to extend the contract or transition to permanent employment
