Customer Service and Purchasing Representative:

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. In person and over the phone customer service
2. Working with the Company's ERP system to process sales orders
3. Working with the Company's ERP system to manage purchase orders and inventory for raw materials
4. Utilize Microsoft Office and email to communicate with internal and external partners
5. Inside sales support
6. Maintain a calendar of operational dates and deadlines
7. Support purchasing / procurement strategies and policies
8. Communicate and follow-up with customers and vendors as needed
9. Assistance with managing inventory of finished products and raw materials
10. Assist with the scheduling and delivery of raw materials
11. Review invoices and shipping tickets for accuracy
12. Support the Company's Office Manager and Purchasing Manager with daily administrative tasks
13. Create and maintain customer and vendor files

Position Requirements:

1. Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
2. Comfortable dealing with customers and vendors
3. Strong computer and office skills - email / Microsoft Office
4. Previous ERP or business software experience
5. Solid administrative skills with filing and record keeping
6. High School Degree
7. Basic understanding of inventory
8. Ability to critically think and understand basic business functions
9. A positive and proactive attitude

Preferred Skills:

1. Associates Degree
2. Experience with purchasing and procurement concepts
3. Experience with inventory management
4. Past employment in manufacturing
5. Maintaining customer and vendor relationships
