A Babysitter provides attentive care for children ranging from infants to school-age, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement during various durations including evenings, half-days, full days, or overnight. This role involves supervising children, preparing meals and snacks, organizing activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining clear communication with parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children across all age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children
• Prepare meals and snacks in accordance with dietary needs
• Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities
• Monitor children’s safety at all times
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding children’s status and needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in childcare
• CPR and First Aid certification recommended
• Effective communication skills
• Strong time management abilities
• Basic cooking skills
• Heightened safety awareness
