2026-27 Piano Accompanist for District Elementary Select Choir

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Minnetonka Public Schools has elementary choir programs for children in grades 3-6. The choir meets to practice one day a week after school from September through May, with public performances. This position serves as the piano accompanist for the Elementary Select Choir, during rehearsals and concerts.

ASSIGNMENT DATES:
September 2026-May 2027

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
The Select choir practices one day a week for 1.5 hours (day of week and time TBD yet) at Clear Springs Elementary

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Demonstrated excellence in technical and expressive aspects of piano playing.
2. Evidence of piano accompanying skills, including the ability to follow the conductor.
3. Demonstrated ability to be flexible, dependable, and work a varied schedule.
4. Experience of successful experience working with school age students.

Compensation:
$2,690 Stipend
This Position Not Medical or Dental Benefit Eligible.
