Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the Blytheville area as a Paraprofessional supporting elementary students throughout the academic year, from August to May. You'll play a vital role in classroom activities and provide essential support to both teachers and students, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Key qualifications we seek:
- Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional or in a classroom support capacity
- Ability to build rapport and work well with children of various ages and needs, including those in special education settings

In this contract position, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the lead teacher with daily classroom activities, instructional tasks, and lesson implementation from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Offering individualized and small group support to students, adapting to unique learning styles and needs
- Encouraging positive behavioral choices by modeling and reinforcing classroom expectations
- Supporting students with special needs in accordance with their educational plans
- Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
